Rosemary and Oregano Marinade for 2 chicken legs.
3 tblsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 teasp of dried rosemary
1/2 teasp of dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
2 Chicken legs
Mix all the dry ingredients with salt and pepper and ground them up alittle with the back of your spoon in a small bowl.Mix in olive oil and sliced garlic and stir. Massage the marinade into each chicken leg. I don’t plan to cook the garlic, it’s just there for aroma while it marinades.
It’s sitting in my fridge now marinating for 24hours but you can go for 30 minutes if you want it fast. I’m just prepping a day before.
I plan to pan-sear it on high heat for 3 minutes each side and then broil it for however long it takes to get it cooked. 15 mins? 1 hour? I don’t claim to know how long it takes but i do know when chicken is cooked.
